     True enough, in the music industry of today, there is a plethora of singer-songwriters. One must truly have their own sound and style to stand out. Unwavering love and passion for the art is the key for staying motivated but “paying your dues”, working hard and focusing on the goals of creating and sharing great music are all elements that are the makings of a true artist. With that being said, I present to you a woman who embodies all of the above and then some and her name, is Saundra Williams.

     Chances are you've seen her or heard  her doing her thing somewhere on a television or at a theatre near you. If not, I'd bet that you probably know someone, who knows someone who has. She's come a long way since singing in church and on New York City Subway platforms after school. Being blessed with a uniquely, soulful voice has allowed her aim high and follow her dreams. She's the consummate professional and her warm, friendly personality makes her a breeze to work with.

     Saundra has continued to make her mark in the music industry as a solo artist and she has  worked with many notable music artists such as Lesette Wilson, Me'lisa Morgan, Freddie Jackson, reggae master Nasio Fontaine and currently, grammy winning jazz bassist Victor Wooten . She's a truly local legend who spreads her wings and sings about love all over the world.
